Power certification of buildings

The Certification of power efficiency of the buildings is an exigency derived from the Director 2002/91/CE. The R D 47/2007, of 19 of January, per which the basic procedure for the certification of power efficiency of buildings of new construction is approved, it forces to the promoters and proprietors of the buildings, including in his scope of application, to such facilitate to the buyers or users of a certificate of power efficiency.
This certificate includes objective information on the power characteristics of the buildings in such a way that its power behavior can be valued and be compared, with the purpose of favoring the promotion of buildings of high power efficiency and the investments in the energy saving.
This new norm, whose objective is to make available of the buyers or users a certificate of power efficiency, creates the “label of power efficiency” of the buildings.
The scope of application is the one of buildings of new construction and modifications, reforms or rehabilitations of existing buildings, with a useful surface superior to 1000 m2 where it renews more of 25% of the total of his closings. They are excluded, in addition to projects and works previous to the take effect, provisional constructions, certain industrial and agricultural buildings and isolated constructions with 50 m2, or inferior, total surface among others.
In order to obtain the certification of power eficency of a building the expedition of a certificate of power efficiency of the project is requisite indispensable (subscribed by the facultative work direction).
When a building is sold or rents, or leaves from he himself, the renter salesman or will have to give to this certificate to the buyer or renter.
In the case of buildings occupied by the public Administration or institutions that serve public, and who are frequented habitually by an important number of people, the exhibition of the certificate it is obligatory.
ATUC SOLAR has specialistic technicians for the accomplishment of Power certifications of the buildings in the general option, having surpassed the advanced training course successfully promoted by Valencia Agency of Energía (AVEN), so that the obtained qualification is by means of programs CALENER, and also of LEADER.
